RAH! Theatre presents, Jean Anouilh's, "Antigone: A Play" translated by Jeremy Sams.
Join us for the classic story as re-told by the French writer, Jean Anouilh. Composed during the Nazi occupation of France, Jean Anouilh's "Antigone" presents the war of words between the brave, defiant Antigone and the pragmatic, strategic King Creon. Anouilh's interpretation forces us to consider the price of holding fast to convictions and what it takes to lead in the wake of a revolution.
This uniquely balanced take on the conflict between Antigone and Creon pits realism against idealism will force audiences to grapple with how they might act when force to choose between someone you love and "The Greater Good".
